Carboys & Mead, Chillis & Jars

I was so lucky to get 3 carboys off freecycle. I am now planning on doing some mead for christmas. I found a recipe online, that is supposedly to be quite easy, but googling it a bit, seems that it might have the disadvantage of requiring a lot of maturing, so it wouldn't be ready for christmas.

Watch this space, but some more refining on the recipe needs to be done, plus the purchase of the honey and the sterilisation of everything involved.

I have also found some Galangal and fresh lemongrass, which will join the garlic and some ginger to complete the harvested Scotch Bonnets for some lovely chilli chutney. Just missing to find some nice jars to go with them.
